A word of thanks from Ruth Owen OBE

Posted on June 22nd, 2012

Whizz-Kidz CEO Ruth Owen wishes to personally acknowledge the many messages of congratulations on her OBE, she has received by letter, email, and via social media.

She says: “The award came as a complete shock, but I am delighted about the profile this gives Whizz-Kidz and the importance of independent mobility for children and young people. I consider the Honour a team effort, and none of this would be possible without the hard work of the charity’s staff and trustees, strategic partners, and all who donate their time and money to us.

“I am touched by everyone’s kind words. For me now, it’s back to business.”
