We are very excited to have two members of the Whizz-Kidz family featuring in high profile shows in BBC Three's new disability season - a series of 15 programmes examining life for young disabled people.
The season kicked off on Monday 20th July, with a one-off drama 'Don't Take My Baby', starring Whizz-Kidz beneficiary turned fundraiser Ruth Madeley in a lead role. The drama, based on a real story, centres on two young disabled people who struggle to keep custody of their newborn baby. Watch this controversial piece of drama again on BBC iPlayer.

Meanwhile, a three-part documentary titled ‘The Unbreakables’, follows the lives of students at National Star College –a further education college with firm links to the charity. Whizz-Kidz Ambassador Nathan Mattick is a student representative and appears in the programme.
