Our current #GetOnBoard campaign led by the Kidz Board aims to make transport more inclusive for wheelchair users.

Since launching in November, Whizz-Kidz Ambassadors have had a number of great successes including Jacqui, who has been on BBC Breakfast to highlight some issues facing young wheelchair users when using public transport. Lexi also represented Whizz-Kidz in a Transport for London participation day and the Kidz Board helped start the ball rolling on some fantastic regional #GetOnBoard campaigns that you'll have opportunities to participate in and shape at your local Ambassador clubs soon!

This Saturday (March 12) is Disabled Access Day, a day designed to encourage disabled people to try new activities. Whizz-Kidz is supporting Disabled Access Day and encouraging all our Ambassadors to try something new. If you're in London why not come down to our Ambassdor Club that's being held at the Tate Modern, where you'll get to see the UK's premier collection of modern and contemporary art?

Having inclusive, accessible transport options is vital to allow young, disabled people to #GetOnBoard and make the most of the opportunities in their local communities.
