Whizz-Kidz celebrates two year partnership with global investment bank Nomura

Whizz-Kidz is delighted to announce a new two year partnership with global investment bank Nomura. Following a competitive selection period, Nomura’s staff voted overwhelmingly to support the charity, and Whizz-Kidz are looking forward to working with colleagues across the organisation.

Whizz-Kidz provides disabled children and young people with vital mobility equipment, opportunities to make friends and have fun, and training to help them gain skills and look forward to a brighter future.

Nomura’s employees are aiming to raise a target of £300,000 over the two year term to help transform the lives of disabled children. The funds raised will enable Whizz-Kidz to provide life-changing wheelchairs and mobility equipment for children across the UK, and will fund the Whizz-Kidz Mobile Community Service, which sees our expert Mobility Engineers travelling alongside our Therapists to visit young people and their families in their homes or at school, fitting and handing over wheelchairs, and carrying out maintenance and repairs.

Celebrating the great news, Ruth Owen, Chief Executive of Whizz-Kidz said:
