Whizz-Kidz is delighted to announce PwC Health Industries as a new fundraising partner for 2017. We are looking forward to working with colleagues from across the Health Industries community to transform the lives of disabled children with the right equipment, training and support, at the right time in their lives.
Fundraising this year will build to a flagship day of activities across the UK in May, to mark PwC’s One Firm One Day event. Teams of creative fundraisers across the PwC Health Industries community will work in competition with one another to raise the most money, in the most inventive way, to support Whizz-Kidz’s work across the UK.
Quentin Cole, PwC Health Industries Leader, is leading the way by signing up to run the Royal Parks Half Marathon and kickstart his fundraising efforts. He said:
“I am delighted that PwC is linking up with Whizz-Kidz this year. This is a great opportunity for us to come together as a community and raise funds to directly help disabled children, as well as better understand some of the issues they face. We have a great opportunity here to make a very real difference to their lives."
Ruth Owen, Chief Executive of Whizz-Kidz, said:
“We are absolutely thrilled that PwC Health Industries is raising money for us this year; we hope the competitive aspect of their fundraising appeal brings out the very best in everyone involved, and helps raise a fantastic amount to support our work.
“We’re looking forward to supporting – and participating in – many of these activities this year; together we’ll be able to make a really significant difference to the lives of disabled children and young people across the UK.”
