Children's Services

Senior Mobility Therapist
Tower Hamlets, London
Full-Time (37.5 hrs per week)
Equivalent to Band 7, level dependent on experience

Our unique partnership with Tower Hamlets NHS Primary Care Trust provides a first class assessment service for the provision of wheelchairs and special seating to children and young people living in Tower Hamlets.

As a qualified Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist with strong people skills, you will manage a clinical workload, supervise the team and run an efficient service. Your goal will be to ensure this initiative remains a beacon for Whizz-Kidz' work and for partnership working between voluntary and statutory services.

We're looking for a highly motivated individual who is keen to balance their experience of managing a customer focused service with a clinical workload. You should be experienced in assessing mobility impaired children and adept at supporting families from diverse ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds.

Strong interpersonal and diplomacy skills combined with the ability to juggle a varied workload are also a must for this exciting and newly created role.
