Lord Borwick is chairman of Modec Ltd, which makes zero emission, battery powered urban delivery vehicles which will carry a two tonne payload for 120 miles at 50mph. He is also a director of Hansa Trust plc, a quoted Investment Trust, managing director of Love Lane Investments Ltd, a property company, and chairman of Federated Trust Corporation Ltd, an investor in start-up companies.
Lord Borwick is also Chairman of Route2Mobility Ltd, which funds wheelchairs and scooters for disabled people as part of the Motability scheme. He was formerly CEO and then chairman of Manganese Bronze Holdings plc, which is best known for the manufacture of the London Taxi. Lord Borwick is a trustee of five charities including the British Lung Foundation and Whizz-Kidz.
As an ambassador I am able to make people aware of the charity. I want to let people know how a wheelchair can change the life of a disabled person and make their life better
