Be a Media Spokesperson for the Fast Forward Campaign!

Our Campaign Champions will be at the forefront of the Fast Forward Campaign. There are many ways you can help us in our work with the media at both a national and local level.

  • You could become a a campaign spokesperson by representing Whizz-Kidz in meetings and other key campaigning events. Share your opinions and experiences with key decision makers. We will help you prepare for these meetings and will be on hand to support you throughout.
  • You could assist with generating media coverage by giving interviews to journalists about your personal experience of using a wheelchair. Can you explain the difference having the right wheelchair has made to your life? Is there anything you would like to do but can’t because you are unhappy with your existing wheelchair? Help us create publicity for the campaign!
  • Why not write a press release for your local newspaper about the campaign and what you are doing about it. You can download a sample Fast Forward press release or write your own. We will be happy to help you with it, and we’ve prepared a briefing on Sending a press release on the Fast Forward campaign.
