Raise awareness of the Campaign through local activities!
As a Campaign Champion, you will lead the campaigning activities in your local area which are designed to raise awareness of the campaign and the need to sign our e-petition.
What local activities can you do?
School and Groups
- Let your friends in school know about the e-petition. You could talk about it amongst your class, ask your teacher if you could do a school assembly on the subject, or advertise it in the school newsletter or intranet if you have one
- If you go to after school clubs or youth groups like the Scouts or a sports team, let them know about the e-petition and ask them to sign it and forward it to their friends.
- Encourage any other young people who want to take part
In Your Community
- Create posters and leaflets to display in public places such as your GP surgery, the library or the Supermarket.
- Organise a public meeting to raise awareness of the campaign.
- Generate publicity by telling the local press about the campaign and what you are doing to support it.
Don’t forget, you are not on your own! The team at Whizz-Kidz will be more than happy to help you with any activity you would like to undertake. Please get in touch with Sally Waters in our Public Affairs Team.
