Jacquie, Ruth's mum says: 'Bringing up a disabled child is a unique experience and it can be very isolating. I look back and there’s so much important information, which often I didn’t find out about until we overheard it in hospital waiting rooms.'
We know that often the best advice comes from chatting to other families, which sometimes happens through chance encounters but Whizz-Kidz are passionate about bringing families together in an online and offline community so parents don't ever have to feel alone . That's why we are so excited to now have a Whizz-Kidz Forum on Mumsnet's website and app, so that families have the opportunity to speak to others about any topic, at any time, wherever in the world they are!
Mumsnet is now the UK’s biggest network for parents. Justine Roberts, CEO of Mumsnet said, ‘We’re delighted to be working with Whizz-Kidz to invite the mums, dads and extended families that use the charity’s services to share advice and support in our new joint forum.’
Continue your conversation with other families on the Whizz-Kidz Forum.
