If you require expert advice and information on any mobility issue, why not come along to our mobility centre at Disability North, Castles Farm Road, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE3 1PH. You are also invited to our forthcoming product and information days. Both families and professionals are welcome.

Buggy and Car Seat Product Day
An exhibition day for families and professionals to view different types of buggies and car seats and discuss their mobility needs with dealers and Whizz-Kidz therapists.

Sports Wheelchair Exhibition Day and Sports Taster Day
An exhibition day for families and professionals to view different types of manual sports wheelchairs and gain impartial advice from Whizz-Kidz therapists and equipment dealers. Also demonstrations of wheelchair sports and a chance to join in, led by Percy Hedley Academy for Disability Sports.

Trike Training and Bike and Trike Exhibition
A bike and trike exhibition day, offering families and professionals the chance to view and try a wide range of equipment from different dealers, with the impartial advice and guidance of Whizz-Kidz mobility therapists. Also included in the day are 2 short Trike Training sessions for young people to practice their cycling skills and learn how to ride safely on their Trikes.
Venue: Percy Hedley Academy For Disability Sports, Percy Hedley Foundation, West Lane, Killingworth, NE12 7BH.
Date and Time: Saturday 4 October, 10am - 3pm (Exhibition)
Trike Training sessions: 11am-12pm and 1pm-2pm.

Wheelchair Skill Training for Young People
A four day programme designed to ensure that disabled children and young people get the most out of their mobility equipment. It’s suitable for both manual and powered wheelchair users and teaches vital skills using a combination of games, sports and group activities.
Venue: Leeds TBC
Date and Time: 27 - 30 October, 1pm to 4pm

Switches, Harnesses and Controls Product Information Day
A product information day for families and professionals to view different types of switches, harnesses and controls and discuss their mobility needs with dealers and Whizz-Kidz therapists.
