Our current partnerships

New Look

Fashion retailer New Look has chosen Whizz-Kidz as a beneficiary charity of its recently launched charitable New Look Foundation for 2010/11.

The two year partnership will centre on staff and customer fundraising for the young people’s mobility charity, and will also involve awareness-raising initiatives. Whizz-Kidz’ young ambassadors will be working with New Look to support schemes on high street accessibility and inclusivity in fashion wear.

Marie Tysall-Blay, New Look’s Head of Social Responsibility, said: “New Look has over 20,000 staff across the country who are excited to be supporting young disabled people in their communities and regions. Whizz-Kidz and New Look hope to make a real difference by not only supporting their physical mobility needs but also their social independence.”

Santander

Santander is sponsoring the 2010 Whizz-Kidz London Marathon team. Whizz-Kidz has one of the largest marathon teams taking part in the event, with over 500 runners, offering our sponsor fantastic brand exposure both in the run up to the event and on the day through our benefits package.  The corporate sponsorship raises brand awareness amongst the team, our supporters and the international television audience as well as in many local media outlets through runners PR. Abbey was the previous sponsor between 2007 and 2009.

Travis Perkins Supply Chain

The supply chain division of builders merchant Travis Perkins Plc will be supporting Whizz-Kidz over the next two years. Over 1400 employees will be fundraising for the charity by participating in Whizz-Kidz challenges and organising their own events. They hope to raise over £40,000 in 2010 alone.

QMH

The ongoing staff fundraising partnership with QMH hotels has been a huge success with staff really getting behind it, raising over £50,000 against an initial target of £25,000 in the first few months of the partnership.

Schneider Electric

Schneider Electric chose Whizz-Kidz as their employee fundraising partner in November 2006 and with a fantastic ongoing effort they have raised over £25,000.

We are very excited about the future fundraising opportunities presented by this corporate partnership.
