Gift in your will

Would you like to leave a donation in your will to Whizz-Kidz?

A time comes in all our lives when we need to write a will to ensure that we protect the future of our family and friends and leave a legacy. When you're preparing your will, please consider making a gift to Whizz-Kidz.

Your donation can help ensure that generations of disabled children are given essential wheelchairs, training and support to give them the freedom and independence to enjoy a more active childhood.

Why is it so important to make a will?

Many people think that if they pass away without making a will their estate automatically goes to their partner or next of kin when they die. However, if you pass away without making a will it is possible that your entire estate could go to the Crown.

Making a will is the only way for you to plan how to take care of family, friends and support your favorite charity or charities after your death.

What next?

If you don't have a will, or if you wish to update your current will to make a donation, you should consult your solicitor. If you wish to include a donation to Whizz-Kidz in your will, please let your solicitor know our Registered Charity Number: 802872 and our address:

Whizz-Kidz

Elliot House

10-12 Allington Street,

London SW1E 5EH.

If you do plan to leave a donation in your will to Whizz-Kidz it would help us so much if you could let us know of your intentions by emailing us or writing to the above address – please include your name and address details in the email. Your wishes of course will remain strictly confidential and this pledge will not be binding to you in anyway.

If you don't have a solicitor, you can use the online locator by visiting the Law Society www.solicitors-online.com.

For more information on how to leave a donation in your will please take a look at our legacy fact sheet or if you have a specific enquiry, please email us or call 020 7798 6118 or 020 7798 6116 (Mon-Tues only).
