Whizz-Kidz wants you to help you raise as much money as possible for disabled children, but to do this you need resources!

Virgin Money Giving

Virgin Money Giving is a new fundraising website that helps charities raise more money online, without taking a penny in profit.

You can set up your own personalised fundraising page at virginmoneygiving.com for an event or occasion and Virgin Money Giving will send the money you raise straight to Whizz-Kidz. They also reclaim Gift Aid automatically, meaning that for every £10 donated on your page (with Gift Aid), Whizz-Kidz will receive £12.46.

Online fundraising via Virgin Money Giving is an effective and simple way to collect funds and can save you time chasing people for cash sponsorship. Your donors can donate quickly and easily from all over the world using a credit or debit card. Simply email everyone you know with the link to your page and watch the donations come rolling in! Don’t forget to promote what you’re doing to your friends on social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter as well.

Fundraising Events to help you reach your target

Don’t forget that when raising money for a Whizz-Kidz challenge you don’t just have to ask people to sponsor you. You can also organise fundraising events to boost your target. How about a quiz night, cocktail party or supermarket bag pack? Or maybe a street collection, curry night, sweep stake or cake bake? Perhaps a dress down day, fancy dress party or a garage sale? There are hundreds of fun options – just choose one you’d like to do.
