How do I pay my fundraising money in?
There are two ways to give Whizz-Kidz your fundraising money:
1. You can pay money into our account with the following details:
HSBC
Account number: 91286390
Sort code: 40-04-01
However, if you do this you MUST let us know as soon as you have done so by emailing us with the date, the amount and the branch of HSBC so that we can locate the payment and add it to your total on our records. Otherwise we will not know it is from you.
It is useful to also add a reference when you pay it with your name and the event you are doing it for.
2. You can send a cheque made payable to "Whizz-Kidz " to the following address:
Whizz-Kidz, Elliot House, 10-12 Allington Street, London SW1E 5EH.
Always add a cover note explaining who you are and what event you are doing so that the payment gets allocated to your total.
Also don't forget to include any sponsor forms filled in clearly and neatly with sponsors' full home addresses, so gift aid can be claimed on their donation increasing its worth by 28% at no extra cost to them.
We will send you an email acknowledgment of your donation once we have received it for your records.
Should I pay money in as I get it or would you prefer it in one lump sum?
It is better to pay in to Whizz-Kidz any money you get as soon as you get it rather than hanging on to it. We pay in any cheques we receive as soon as we get them so your donors will not be wondering when their money will be taken.
We keep a running total for you on our database and you can call up to ask for your latest total any time you need.
What happens to the money I raise on my justgiving page?
Any money raised on your justgiving page will be added to your total on our database - you don't have to do anything to ensure this.
Can you add my offline total to my justgiving page?
Only you can make changes on your JG page so only you can add your offline total by logging in to your page. However, note that we have a record on our system for all your on and offline donations we have received so you can always check your total with us.
What is gift aid and how can I claim it?
Gift aid is brilliant! It is free money for the charity so you must take advantage of this at all times!
How it works: if your sponsors are UK tax payers and they fill in the sponsor forms with their full home address and tick the gift aid box then Whizz-Kidz can claim an extra 28% on their donation at no extra cost to them. That is the basic rate of tax already paid on their gift. For eg, if someone donates £10 their donation becomes £12.80 with gift aid!
Important notes on gift aid:
1. make sure your sponsors fill out the forms correctly and legibly so that gift aid can be claimed - too much gift aid is lost through people not filling out the forms correctly (incomplete or work addressed won't do).
2. please note that our minimum fundraising targets do not include gift aid.
3. gift aid on justgiving is dealt with automatically so you don't need to worry about this.
With any sponsor money you send in to us please also enclose any completed sponsor forms or completed gift aid donation forms, filled in clearly and neatly with everyone’s full name and home address so that we can claim the gift aid on each donation, thus increasing any money you raise by 28%.

What happens if I need to drop out of an event?
If you think you need to drop out of an event then contact Whizz-Kidz immediately and we will inform you of your options.
If I drop out what happens to the sponsor money I have raised so far?
If you have to drop out of an event it is usual for us to keep the money you have raised so far and just treat it as general donations to our cause. It is very unusual for sponsors to want their money back.
