Whizz-Kidz is delighted to have guaranteed places in a number of exciting new DO IT for charity 5k runs.
These events offer the perfect way to get into shape for the summer! Join the Whizz-Kidz team and fundraise in the knowledge that you'll be helping to transform the lives of disabled children across the UK.
Whizz-Kidz has a small number of charity places available for each event. If you are interested in a Whizz-Kidz place, you need to raise a minimum amount of sponsorship - see each event below for the minimim amount.
To apply for one of our places please fill out and return the application form. Once we receive it we will give you a call to let you know whether or not your application has been successful.

To take part in one of the above 5k runs, you need to raise a minimum sponsorship of £100.
BUPA Great Runs Series
BUPA Great Manchester Run (10k)
Sunday 18 May 2008, Manchester
The BUPA Great Manchester Run starts and finishes in the city centre. The route takes you past the G-Mex, the old Hacienda and Deansgate Lock before you make a clear, fast run to Trafford and the Quays - pasting Old Trafford and the Imperial War Museum and then back up Chester Road to the finish on Deansgate.
To join the Whizz-Kidz team, you need to apply in the first instance, through the official Great Manchester Run entry system, which is NOW OPEN.
You can apply online or alternatively ring 0845 389 2200. Places are given out on a first-come, first-served basis.
If you are successful in gaining your own place in this event, we would be delighted to welcome you on to our team. Please call us on 020 7233 9696 or email us your details and we will happily send you a Whizz-Kidz welcome pack.
Minimum sponsorship: £350.

BUPA Great Capital Run (10km)
Sunday 20 July 2009, London
The BUPA Great Capital Run is a summertime 10K event which takes place in the beautiful surroundings of Hyde Park. Last year the event attracted over 11,000 runners and this year the event is due attract a similar crowd on Sunday 20th July.

BUPA Great North Run (Half Marathon)
Sunday 5 October 2008, Newcastle
Famous for the biggest half-marathon in the world, the BUPA Great North Run is one of the most popular races in the UK and has an atmosphere all of its own. Each year the running field contains world-record holders plus thousands of others, including numerous celebrity runners, fun runners and those who choose to raise funds for their chosen good cause.
For a place in this event, we would ask you to apply in the first instance through the official Great North Run ballot, which is open until Midnight on 10 February 2008. To enter the ballot you can apply online. Alternatively, call 0845 389 2200.
All applicants will be required to submit payment details at the time of entering the ballot, but payment will only be taken if your entry application is successful.

Great South Run (10 miles)

Hosted in the historic city of Portsmouth, the Great South Run is a flat road race making it a great starting point for all aspiring runners.
