Women only cycle challenges across the UK– new for 2012

     

The 7 Cycletta events across the UK in 2012 have just been announced!

Cycletta events are a new series of cycling events for women only. The events are specifically designed to provide a cycle challenge for all levels of fitness and cycling experience and have been set up to encourage more women to take up cycling.

Not only will you be able to enjoy the ride with girls, you will also be able to take advantage of the free post event pamper zone which includes a helmet hair remedy centre, mini manicure and massage to ease those sore muscles – all for free!

This years Cycletta 2012 dates and destinations are:

Bedfordshire – Woburn Abbey – 13th May

Wiltshire – Lydiard Park – 24th June

Cornwall – St Michael’s Mount – 15th September (at the Festival of Sport)

Warwickshire – Ragley Hall - 23rd September 

 

Brighton – Plumpton Racecourse – 30th September

Cheshire – Tatton Park – 7th October

New Forest – Beaulieu Palace - 21st October

These women only challenges are supported by Olympic Gold Medallist, Victoria Pendleton and are an exceptional reason to get on your bike in the Olympic year to raise vital funds for Whizz-Kidz!  And if you haven’t got a bike you can always hire one for the day at the event!

Fundraising target: Registration fee is £25 with a minimum sponsorship target of £175 for Whizz-Kidz
