Kilomathon

14 March 2010

Run the England Kilomathon for Whizz-Kidz and take part in the world's first ever Kilomathon event!

The Kilomathon is a world first for 2010 and you can take part and run for Whizz-Kidz!  Starting in Nottingham and finishing in Derby this is one race not to be missed!

The 26.2 km (16.3 mile) race is perfect for:

  • those training for a marathon
  • those looking for the next stepping stone from a half marathon
  • those who hit the wall at 18-20 miles yet still want a long distance challenge
  • those who want to get involved in something new!

The Kilomathon is brought to you by the team behind the successful Edinburgh Marathon (the UK's second largest marathon) and has been launched by double Olympian, Liz Yelling; "this innovative event will be a new target distance for lots of runners, from experienced looking to develop their performance or runners looking for a different challenge".

You can secure your own place in the England Kilomathon by visiting the website click here.  Once you have secured your place please let us know as we would love to support you and welcome you to Team Whizz-Kidz!
