The Whizz-Kidz Events Team are on hand to support you with all aspects of your marathon training and have created the following nutrition guide to help you have the most enjoyable and successful marathon experience possible!

Nutrition tip of the month

                                Energy boost!

Energy foods don't have to be boring!  Why not take the opportunity to incorporate a smoothie into your marathon preparations with an energy boost to...boost!

                Strawberry & Passion Fruit Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 500ml milk or soya milk
  • 125g natural bio yoghurt
  • 250g strawberries
  • 4 passion fruits, halved and scooped
  • 4 teaspoons of honey

Method: Place all igredients in a blender and process until smooth.  Simple as!

Serves 4.

 
Nutrition guidelines: 153kcal, fat 3.3g, saturated fat 2g, salt 1.78g, 0.19g salt, 19g sugar
