There are a number of ways that university staff and students can support our work. If you would like to fundraise for Whizz-Kidz, you could carry out your own easy to organise fantastic fundraiser like a sponsored sky dive or use a social networking site to create a fundraising group. We also have a number of local events which may interest you - become a fan of Whizz-Kidz on Facebook and keep up-to-date on
what we are up to. Also, please have our look at our fundraising guide for more fundraising advice.
If you belong to a society or your university has a charity society, such as RAG, why not encourage them to fundraise for Whizz-Kidz or make us their chosen charity for the academic year? The Whizz-Kidz Regional team are here to help and will provide you with everything you need for any events or street collections you decide to do.

Whizz-Kidz has a number of volunteering opportunities and the following may be of interest to any students wishing to support us:
If you’re a young person aged 16-25
Whizz-Kidz is keen to encourage young people – disabled and non disabled - to volunteer and get active in their local community whilst supporting the charity’s work. Volunteering is a great way to develop new skills, impress future employers with your dedication, meet new people and make a valuable contribution to our work and your local community.
As part of a national volunteering programme supported by v, Whizz-Kidz is currently recruiting young people across the UK to join our volunteer network.
If you’re a young person aged 16-25 and would like to volunteer, we’d love to hear from you. Call our Volunteer Development Officer on 020 7798 6120 or email us.
All volunteers working with young people will be subject to an Advanced Criminal Record Bureau check.
Office volunteer
We’re always looking for people to help out in one of our offices either at our HeadQuarters in Victoria, London or at our mobility centres in Birmingham or Newcastle. How long and how much of your time you are able to commit will really determine how involved you can become.
If you are interested in volunteering in one of our locations, please email our Volunteer Development Officer or call on 020 7798 6120.
