Ad-Hoc Wheelchair Skills Trainers

Are you passionate about enabling disabled children and young people to develop their wheelchair skills, general confidence and independence? Do you have knowledge about wheelchair use and experience in training disabled children and young people?

Whizz-Kidz is seeking to expand our network of wheelchair skills trainers. We are looking for good team players able to support and co-train along with our Wheelchair Skills Training – Regional Trainer/Co-ordinators. Ad-Hoc Wheelchair Skills Trainers will also lead small groups of trainees on their own with the support of volunteers.

With the supervision of one of our Wheelchair Skills Training – Regional Trainer/Co-ordinators, the Ad-Hoc Wheelchair Skills Trainers will help deliver training to a range of children and young people during training schemes in schools and community venues.

The Ad-Hoc Wheelchair Skills Trainers will be employed (as implied) on an ad hoc basis by Whizz-Kidz.

Ad-Hoc Wheelchair Skills Trainers will be paid a set day rate of £50.00 + reasonable expenses. We need Ad Hoc Wheelchair Skills Trainers across the UK.
