Farorun: not an easy rider, but a challenging fundraiser for bike enthusiasts
Remember Scumball 3000? The cross-Europe wacky car rally supported Whizz-Kidz in 2008, raising £55,000.
Well, the brains behind it are delivering an incredible new driving challenge; once again raising as much money as possible to give young wheelchair-users in the UK a flying start.
If you’ve ever dreamt of hitting the dusty open road on a motorbike, Farorun could be for the adventurous amongst you!
Over eight days the journey will take you from Plymouth to Santander and back again. Travelling down through Spain and finally entering Portugal, you’ll meet up with thousands of fellow bikers for the infamous Faro Festival.
Farorun will support all participants with fully experienced bikers, and the team are offering a discounted entry if you commit to fundraising for Whizz-Kidz when signing up.
They say, “if you only ever do one trip on your bike make sure its Farorun!”.
