Whizz-Kidz Welsh Baccalaureate Project

Whizz-Kidz has a long term aim to reach out to more young people in Wales to promote disability awareness. We have therefore worked with the Welsh Baccalaureate Team at the WJEC (the Welsh Joint Education Committee) to create a dedicated resource pack to be used by Welsh Baccalaureate students.

The Whizz-Kidz Welsh Bac Pack offers five fun and inspiring ‘Group Work Projects’ that promote team building, problem solving and community engagement. Aspects of each project include budgeting, promotion and marketing, presenting and campaigning – and above all the projects are exciting and interactive!

We have a small but dedicated team of staff and volunteers who are ready to support students with their Whizz-Kidz Community Work projects, by offering advice and supportive materials to ensure each project is cared for and recognised too. The Welsh Baccalaureate Team at the WJEC has fully endorsed the pack.

All schools, sixth forms and colleges that offer the Welsh Baccalaureate course will be receiving a pack in the post shortly, but if you can’t wait, then click here to download your own copy:
