Whizz-Kidz campaigners enjoy Scottish Cup Final
Earlier this month two Whizz-Kidz Ambassadors, Arthur Lawson, 25, and David Brockett, 17, spent the weekend at the Scottish Football Cup Final, courtesy of corporate partner Molson Coors.
Both represent young people on the Scottish Youth Parliament and also campaign for disabled young people regionally for Whizz-Kidz.
David White, Head of Marketing and Strategy, Molson Coors (Scotland) said:
“Cup final day is always a great day in the Scottish sporting calendar. As an official partner of the Scottish Cup, Molson Coors is delighted to be able to use our association to provide memorable experiences like this and are very proud to work alongside Whizz-Kidz. We are glad that Arthur and David had such a great time. The charity does fantastic work, and we will continue supporting them in the future, doing our utmost to raise funds which go towards those kids that can really benefit from the work Whizz-Kidz does.”
Mark Lovell, Head of Youth Participation at Whizz-Kidz:
“A huge thanks to Molson Coors for celebrating the Scottish Cup with two young Whizz-Kidz Ambassadors. It’s really important to make sport and spectatorship accessible, and thanks to the continued partnership of Molson Coors and Whizz-Kidz – more young people are getting opportunities to be active and live full childhoods with the right support.”
Since June 2010, Molson Coors (UK) has raised nearly £300,000 towards powered and manual wheelchairs and skills training for disabled youngsters across the UK.
