Team Tesco raises the stakes for the 2010 New York Marathon

A team of seven Tesco team members have raised the bar on event fundraising, having passed an astonishing £46,000 towards their New York Marathon 2010 target.

Adam Smith, one of the team leaders says, “It started out as a discussion between Phil and myself about dedicating 2010 to raising some money for charity. By January there were seven of us signed up to run the New York Marathon! With 3.5 months to go until we run in New York, it is safe to say that all seven of us are enjoying the challenge to a) get fit and to b) raise as much money as possible for Whizz-Kidz.
