• Hold a collection - Every penny helps! Grab your Whizz-Kidz collection cans and buckets and encourage people to donate their spare change. Download our How to Organise a Collection Guide to get started.
  • Jumble sale – got any unwanted clothes or items cluttering up the house? Why not take them to your local jumble sale and donate the proceeds to Whizz-Kidz?
  • School bake sale - bake some cakes and bring them into your local school to sell to parents, teachers and children! Make sure you get permission from the head teacher first.
  • Coffee morning – organise a coffee morning with people in your community either in your home or at a venue of your choice. Bake cakes and make tea & coffee and ask people to make a donation.
  • Sponsored walk – this is great for getting people in your local community together of all ages to go on a walk around the area. Have those taking part make a donation or get others to sponsor them to do the walk and put all the proceeds into one big pot!
  • Fancy dress party – hold a fancy dress party at home or in a local venue and charge an entry fee to the event.
  • School non-uniform day – get in touch with your local school and organise a non-uniform day on behalf of Whizz-Kidz. Get every child and teacher taking part to donate £1 for doing so.
  • Bag packing – why not do some bag packing in your local supermarket and ask shoppers to make donations in return for your help? Christmas is a great time to do this, but you must get permission from the store’s manager first.
