  • What is Gift Aid and do I qualify for it?

    The Gift Aid Small Donation Scheme enables registered charities to reclaim tax on a donation made by a UK taxpayer, effectively increasing the amount of the donation by approximately 25%. For example, if someone makes a donation of £100 it will be worth £125 to Whizz-Kidz without any extra cost to you or the donor! See if you’re eligible for Gift Aid.

  • How do I sign up for Gift Aid?

    If you are donating online, just tick the Gift Aid box on the donation form. Alternatively you can download and fill out our Gift Aid Declaration form and send it back to us at events@whizz-kidz.org.uk. You can also contact the team 020 7233 9696 if you have any questions about this.

  • How do I pay in the money I have raised?

    Please visit the Paying in section of our website with details on how to pay in your money online, by post or by bank transfer. Please don’t send cash in the post.

  • Can I use the Whizz-Kidz logo on my website, product or publicity materials?

    You can use the Whizz-Kidz logo should you wish, but you must not change the logo in anyway and the charity must be represented correctly. Commercial organisations are not permitted to use Whizz-Kidz’s name or logo without our prior consent. Please contact us on events@whizz-kidz.org.uk if you would like to use our logo.

  • What events can I get involved in to raise money for Whizz-Kidz?

  • How else can I get involved with Whizz-Kidz?

    If a challenge event is not for you then there are other ways in which you can fundraise for Whizz-Kidz including holding a quiz night or a bakesale, just visit the ideas section on our website. If you want to hold a different fundraising event for Whizz-Kidz then please contact a member of the team on 020 7233 6163. for any help and advice!

  • How does the money I raise help Whizz-Kidz?

    In 2013, Whizz-Kidz helped nearly 1,800 disabled children by providing them with the right equipment at the right time in their lives, which gave them independence and freedom to lead their lives instead of being led.

    We reached nearly 2,000 children with vital life skills training which empowers them and gives them confidence to live their lives to their full potential.

    There are still 70,000 children in the UK waiting for the right equipment and skills training in order to start their childhoods, which is why every penny you raise really does count!

  • How do I publicise my event?

  • How does Whizz-Kidz spend my money?

    For every £1 we raised in 2013 we spent:

    - 74p on our work transforming the lives of disabled children and young people

    - 26p to generate future income

    For every £1 spent on fundraising costs, Whizz-Kidz raises £4 in income to spend on providing the equipment, support and life skills that children and young disabled people need to develop to their full potential. See how your money makes a difference!
