The more you put your challenge out there and let your friends and family know about it, the better the response you'll get with hopefully more donations!
Using social media to promote your fundraising is easy and effective. It’s important to use photos or videos of your fundraising where possible to help you publicise this to your friends and family. We would also recommend that you link back to the Whizz-Kidz website where possible.
Please feel free to use any of the images or videos featured on Whizz-Kidz’s social media pages to demonstrate how the money they are donating will help disabled children. Useful Whizz-Kidz sites for photos and videos are YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and our website.
Don’t forget to always include a link to your fundraising page and also details of your text to donate if you have this function set up.
A good way of spreading the word about your fundraising and raising more awareness is by contacting your local newspaper. We have a press release available that you can edit and send out to your local paper to get them to publish a story about the fundraising you are doing for Whizz-Kidz. Just email the events team firstname.lastname@example.org to request a template.
