McKenzie has needed a wheelchair since the age of five after complications following spinal surgery. His old NHS wheelchair was so heavy and bulky he could barely move it and it left him exhausted – meaning he had to be pushed about. He would struggle to get around and play with other kids – this took its toll on his confidence and independence. His new Whizz-Kidz wheelchchair has given him a whole new lease of life.
