We are looking for a motivated, flexible and passionate individual ideally with previous experience in the field, or otherwise keen to transfer their clinical skills and knowledge into a new setting. Experience in either neurology paediatrics or community work would allow you to utilise transferable skills.  A position with the team offers an opportunity to develop your clinical skills in all areas of postural and mobility assessments and related equipment prescription. You will work as an autonomous practitioner; responsible for your own case load.

A flexible but organised approach is required to meet the varied needs of all children and young people who apply for equipment. Clinicians within the service are responsible for the holistic assessment and prescription of buggies, standard and active user wheelchairs, specialist wheelchairs, powered wheelchairs, associated postural seating and recreational equipment.

The role is based within the adult team based in the Surrey Wheelchair service which is run by Rosscare.  This is an opportunity to help shape the service provided to children and young people as part of Whizz Kidz strategic plan.

The role will also involve working within the charity setting.

If successfully recruited you will be working for a young and vibrant organisation, which embraces innovation and change to provide better outcomes for all our clients.

Working for Whizz Kidz, you will also be able to access our generous range of benefits including a pension scheme, private healthcare options, season ticket loans, generous annual leave and long service awards.  Flexible working is available.
