This is an exciting time to be joining Whizz-Kidz as we prepare to launch our new, ambitious strategic plan. This role forms part of the Public Fundraising Team within the organisation and delivers our exciting community and education programme.
You will be responsible for identifying and developing community and event areas that will lead to significant income growth for the charity, coordinating established, long running community supporter events and developing and enhancing our schools engagement project as we embark on an exciting high profile event to be delivered in 2023.
The role offers plentiful opportunities for teamwork, relationship development and supporter care excellence, alongside cross team working with colleagues and young wheelchair users.
We are looking for a passionate colleague with strong communication skills to join our team, who is excited about the future of events and community fundraising and who will bring drive and enthusiasm to the role. This colleague will inspire and motivate Whizz-Kidz supporters and their families, to not only have an exceptional experience with Whizz-Kidz but to help the organisation to create opportunities to better support young wheelchair users.
