How To Set Up A Fundraising Page

When you create your page remember to personalise it with photos, a description of what you’re doing and why you are fundraising for Whizz-Kidz. Concentrate on inspiring people to sponsor you and show why you care about what you’re doing.

Email your fundraising page link to your contacts at the beginning of your fundraising journey, just before you complete your event and afterwards to maximise sponsorship. People need reminding!

Don’t forget to share your training and fundraising milestones online to remind people what you’re doing. You can upload pictures and videos to social media and also add them to your online fundraising page.  

Remember to thank people who donate — this is especially helpful if you do it publicly as it may remind others who haven’t donated yet.

If you successfully reach the target on your page before the event, then increase it. This will inspire friends and family to donate more to help you reach your goal.
