Caitlyn is a creative and passionate 19-year-old from Kilmarnock. She is very musical and loves to sing – influenced by the 50s and 60s music she loves to listen to. She also splits her time between modelling, creative writing and playing Boccia for the Glasgow Gladiators.

Caitlyn has Cerebral Palsy and uses a Whizz-Kidz wheelchair to get around as she cannot stand or walk unaided. Before her Whizz-Kidz wheelchair, daily tasks could be a struggle which she found frustrating.

Thanks to her Whizz-Kidz wheelchair her life has been transformed, giving her a new sense of independence.

Caitlyn has been attending her local Whizz-Kidz club in Glasgow for years.

“The experiences I’ve gained throughout the club have helped me in many ways and I’ve made life-long friends”.

She is now studying music in college which has had a real postive impact on how she is able to express her creativity.
