Games Night
Bring people together for a fun-filled games night and turn friendly competition into valuable donations
How do I get started?
Whether you're a board game champion or a quiz master, a games night can be super simple to set up. Here's everything you'll need to get started:
Choose your games
Pick games that are easy to play and appeal to a range of ages and abilities. Board games, card games, quizzes and party games are all great options.
Pick a date and location
Choose a venue with enough space for everyone to play comfortably, such as your home, workplace, community centre or local hall.
Set an entry fee and collect donations
Decide how much guests will contribute to take part. You can collect cash, direct people to your fundraising page, or use a QR code to make donating quick and easy.
Spread the word
Invite friends, family, colleagues and neighbours through email, WhatsApp and social media.
Plan refreshments
Provide snacks and drinks, or ask guests to bring something to share. You could even ask for an additional donation for refreshments.
Add some friendly competition
Offer small prizes for winners or include fun challenges throughout the evening to keep everyone engaged.
Add some finishing touches
Use posters, decorations and Whizz Kidz fundraising materials to create a fun atmosphere. You can even begin the night with a speech about Whizz Kidz and why you're running the London Marathon.
