Whizz Kidz Collective
Join the Collective and help us to make change for young wheelchair users.
The Collective get involved in many areas of Whizz Kidz, from working with partners such as playground designers or supermarkets to create more accessible spaces, to creating content for Whizz Kidz social media, to joining in with fun activities just for them.
If you are a wheelchair user aged 8-25, you can sign up today.
As part of this group, you will hear about a huge range of opportunities to be part of what we do at Whizz Kidz.
These opportunities could include:
- Creating online content for the Whizz Kidz website and social media
- Joining fun activities to meet other young wheelchair users to chat and share experiences
- Being part of Whizz Kidz meetings
- Giving feedback to partners with the aim of creating more accessible products/ experiences
- Support fundraising/ partnership pitches by providing your perspective
- Mentoring/ supporting younger young wheelchair users.
- Sharing opinions and helping to create stories to share in the media about the experiences of young wheelchair users
The opportunities will vary dependent on age and experience.
You will also help us to know what is most important to young wheelchair users, which will then shape the work we do. We want to make sure we are truly representing young wheelchair users and are making a real difference to your lives, and listening to you and raising your voice is a vital part of this. So we’d really love to hear from you!
This group is open to all young wheelchair users aged 8 – 25 in the UK.
