Whizz Kidz Research Panel
By being a part of our panel, your voice and expertise can help shape and influence what we do and how we do it.
At Whizz Kidz, it is important that the services we provide, campaigns we champion, and issues we raise awareness of are all informed by the lived experience and needs of young wheelchair users and their families. By being a part of our panel, your voice and expertise can help shape and influence what we do and how we do it.
What is a research panel?
A research panel is simply a group of people who agree to give feedback on different issues or topics. Here at Whizz Kidz, you could be asked for comments on a range of topics – from accessibility issues to wheelchair services to the cost of living crisis.
What should I expect as a panellist?
You will receive emails requesting your input on different topics, projects, and campaigns.
Depending on the research, we may collect your feedback in different ways, such as,
- Opinions polls
- Surveys or questionnaires
- Written feedback, such as blogs
- Focus group discussions
- One-to-one discussions
We will keep you updated on the projects, services, and campaigns you feed into.
How much time is involved?
Your time and feedback are very important to us, but we recognise that you will each have busy lives with lots going on. For this reason, you can contribute as much or as little as you like. Every time you take part in research, your views are being considered and heard, but you do not have to take part in research that you don’t want to. Of course, you are free to leave the panel anytime.
Who can join the research panel?
The panel is made up of young wheelchair users (you must be over 16 to join the panel) and parents or carers of young wheelchair users.
