Raffle
Turn exciting prizes into valuable donations with a simple raffle your supporters will love.
How do I get started?
With a few great prizes and a little planning, a raffle can be a great way to fundraise. Here's everything you'll need to get started:
Fundraising guidelines
Please ensure you follow the fundraising guidelines when organising your raffle. For more information, see the link at the bottom of this page.
Choose your prizes
Ask friends, family, local businesses or your employer to donate prizes. Popular options include chocolates, bottles of wine, restaurant vouchers, beauty products, gift sets or other items people would be excited to win.
Pick a date and location
Decide when you'll draw the raffle and where you'll sell tickets, whether that's at work, a community event, a social gathering or online.
Sell tickets and collect donations
Decide how much you'll charge for tickets, such as £1 per ticket or £5 for a bundle. You can collect cash, direct supporters to your fundraising page, or use a QR code to make donating and purchasing tickets quick and easy.
Spread the word
Promote your raffle through email, WhatsApp, social media and workplace noticeboards to reach as many people as possible.
Draw the winners
Choose a clear and fair way to draw the winning tickets, then contact winners promptly and arrange prize collection.
Add some finishing touches
Use posters, homemade signs and Whizz Kidz fundraising materials to help your raffle stand out and encourage more ticket sales.
