Poundland Foundation
Whizz Kidz has proudly been working in partnership with Poundland, and the Poundland Foundation since 2017. In that time thanks to the incredible support of Poundland’s amazing colleagues, customers and suppliers more than £2.6million has been donated to Whizz Kidz. Whizz Kidz is one of three national charity partners, alongside Make-a-Wish UK and Tommy’s. The partnership provides many opportunities for colleague, customer and supplier engagement across the UK and has secured two Corporate Engagement Awards.
In 2024, the Poundland Foundation is generously funding Whizz Kidz activity programmes, Kidz Max days and Siblings Group. These programmes support young wheelchair users to overcome barriers, increase physical and mental wellbeing and foster confidence and independence.
