We're Sorry

Following our International Wheelchair Day post where we shared an image without a diverse representation of our community, we would like to apologise. We appreciate the feedback and understand why this has caused concern. Representation matters, and we regret that our image did not reflect the diversity of the wheelchair-using community.

Our intention was to celebrate International Wheelchair Day in a positive way, with the image featuring some of our ambassadors who had kindly contributed stories and advice in the past week, but we recognise that our image did not include the diversity that truly represents our community.

We are committed to learning from this and will work on being more inclusive in our visual storytelling going forward.

We welcome feedback on how we can better represent our diverse community. Please feel free to share your thoughts.
