TCS 2022 London Marathon Charity Places available

Apply today for an entry to the 2022 London Marathon

There is no other charity that I could imagine running for - Stuart Miles, Team Whizz-Kidz Marathon Runner

In the last 22 years we have helped almost 10,000 runners reach that finish line and in 2022 we want to support you!

Since it's formation in 1990, Whizz-Kidz has raised over £22M to help transform the lives of children and young people with disabilities.

We know that training and running the London Marathon is a big challenge to undertake and our dedicated Events team will be with you every step of the journey, offering you our renowned first class support.

Apply for one of our charity places today or join us with your ballot place. Together we can change the lives of disabled children across the UK!

It doesn’t matter if this is your first ever marathon or if you’ve run in one before, Whizz-Kidz will be on hand to support you from the day of your application, during your training right up through to when you cross the finish line. When running the London Marathon with Whizz-Kidz, you can expect:

Training

  • Training plans designed by our training team
  • Access to our marathon team coach
  • Access to our online training hub
  • An inviation to one of our three London Marathon Training Days

  • Four of the loudest cheer points en route
  • A mini-bus service from the finish line to our post-race reception
  • A post-race reception with food, drinks and a free massage

Wheelchair entries

In order to take part in the mass race in your wheelchair you must be able to participate under your own power, you cannot be pushed.

The only wheeled equipment or devices that may be used are standard day chairs/wheelchairs and Race Runner tricycles. Disabled participants wanting to use Race Runner tricyles must contact disability@londonmarathonevents.co.uk.

To obtain a finisher's medal, you must complete the event by the official cut-off time and if you are slower than seven-hour pace, you will have to complete the event on the pavement.

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact our team on 0207 233 9696 or email events@whizz-kidz.org.uk

Join Team Whizz-Kidz and help children like Brody

Brody loves the buggy, you could see the difference in his face straight away! He is more comfortable and relaxed with it. The world can become smaller when you are disabled because of things being inaccessible. Having the right equipment can change everything. We wanted to thank you all for running the London Marathon for Whizz-Kidz and hope you will continue fundraising so more children like Brody can get the mobility equipment they need. Thank You!
