Lime Tree Primary School in Surrey wanted to make the playground more accessible for young wheelchair users at their school. They planned to use their grant to buy equipment for the playground, games, and sports.

“We would like to improve our playground facilities so that wheelchair users can access more of the games on offer. We would like to purchase resources to support more inclusivity in sports at the school and increase interaction and participation for children in wheelchairs.”

The school said their project had been somewhat successful and a positive experience. They rated being involved in the community change projects 5 out of 5 stars.

“It has been a really positive experience for us. We have been able to really focus on this child's needs and interests and cater our provision more for him.”
