Community Hub Fundraising Ideas

Are you planning to host a fundraiser for Whizz Kidz? There are so many ways you can raise money and engage your customers at the same time! At Whizz Kidz we have some fun fundraising ideas outside of (but also including) events and activities like quiz nights and raffles! Check out our list below to give you some inspiration. 

Pounds per pint/pour

Ask your customers to make a donation of £1 per drink that they purchase from you! You could also ask them to round up to the nearest note e.g. £5, £10 or £20 if they are purchasing a round, with the money raised collected in a lovely Whizz Kidz fundraising box or via a QR code that we can create for you.

Raffles

Organise a raffle with donated prizes from local businesses and your clientele. This could be anything from hampers, tickets to a sporting event, clothes or afternoon tea! Sell raffle tickets from the bar and donate the proceeds to Whizz Kidz! 

The local vs the locals!

Round up your regulars and take on the locals sat their own game! This could be a local football, netball, cricket club or more. Organise an exhibition game, secure some sponsors and charge an entry fee per player! Tie this in with a BBQ or quiz night and watch your total grow!

The games!

Organise a series of games and challenges, such as darts, shuffle board, pool, snooker, bar mat flip, and quizzes, and crown the winners as "champions." Charge entry fees for participants and offer prizes for the top performers.
