Bake Sale or Coffee Morning

Organise a bake sale or coffee morning where students, parents, and teachers can contribute homemade baked goods to sell to your community.

Dress-Up or Down Day

Host a dress-up or down day where students can pay a small fee to dress up according to the theme. Themes could include favourite book characters, superheroes, inspirational figures or decades, the list of possibilities is endless. This could also be something as simple as a no uniform day, with a donation per student.

Fete or Fair

Plan a fete or fair with games, food stalls, face painting, and other fun activities in aid of Whizz Kidz. Charge an entrance fee and sell tickets for games and stalls. Make this event accessible and open to all by planning a fun and safe event that everyone can be part of.

Walkathon or Fun Run

Organise a walkathon or fun run where students and staff collect donations from family and friends for each lap or mile they complete, you could also charge an overall entry fee. Think about how to make your chosen activity accessible to all, with different distances or routes that take in to account everyone’s needs.

Art Auction

Use those rainy indoor days to engage students and staff to create artwork to be auctioned off to parents and community members. This could include paintings, drawings, pottery, or other crafts. This could also be a brilliant focus of an art classes term project.

Movie Night

Host a movie night where families can come together to watch a film. Why not open up your rooms and have more than one film option available so there is something for everyone! You could run a snack table, with the profits topping up your total for Whizz Kidz.

Raffle

Organise a raffle with donated prizes from local businesses, parents or guardians. Sell raffle tickets to staff and their families for a chance to win!

Plant Sale

Hold a plant sale where students can sell potted plants, flowers, or seeds that they have grown themselves or that have been donated.

Talent Show

Host a talent show where students can showcase their singing, dancing, or magic tricks. Charge an entrance fee for attendees. Why not involve your drama group and maybe event put on a play, charging family, friends and the local community to attend.

Parent-Teacher Sports Match or Tournament

Organise a friendly sports game between parents and teachers, such as a football match, netball, or basketball game. Sell tickets for spectators, or an ask for a donation to take part.
