The money you raise will help us reach even more young wheelchair users to provide the right equipment, skills and confidence to go further. For instance;
- £500 could pay for one of our engineers to complete a repair and maintenance check on a young person’s wheelchair, helping them to stay mobile and make the most of their equipment.
- £1,000 could go towards a specialist adapted buggy for a very young child, making a difference to the whole family. A new buggy allows them to enjoy the freedom of days out, walks on the beach or in the woods – knowing that their child is safe, comfortable and their equipment can handle the terrain.
- £2,100 could cover the costs for us to deliver a Mobility Clinic for five young people and their families in their local community. Our trained Therapists and Engineers will assess their needs, identify and handover the right piece of equipment, giving them greater independence and transforming their lives over night.
You can read more about our impact and the young wheelchair users we have supported on our website.
