Please make time to read the London Marathon’s Official guide for the day before the 27th.Team PhotoMeet us, Coach Graeme and your fellow Whizz Kidz runners for a big team photo in Greenwich Park to kickstart marathon day! Please join us just before 9am at the meeting point below (King William Walk and Nevada Street)What3Words location: Sugars. Union. Pasta. View map.We will take our photo at 9.15am sharp and there will be plenty of time to get to the start line. This a great opportunity to meet some fellow Whizz Kidz runners and get some last minute tips from Coach Graeme to get you ready to go!
The Route
We have four incredible Whizz Kidz cheering points across the route to cheer on our runners and we encourage you to join us so your runner knows where you will be. Make a note of their runner number and use the official London Marathon app to track them on race day.
We will be around mile 9, 12.5, 19 and 24 (we will aim to get as close as possible to the mile markers so please keep an eye out for our yellow banners and flags):
Post Race Reception
Our Post Race Reception is held at The Royal Institution which is a quick 10-minute walk from the finish line - scan the below for directions:
At the reception, our runners can get food and a massage, and there is a café and bar open for you to purchase refreshments.
Your runner will need to formally RSVP to this, and please note that due to capacity they are allowed a maximum for 6 guests only.
