Readers of The Express raise £50,000 for Whizz Kidz
The Daily Express has raised a landmark amount for Whizz Kidz through its annual Christmas appeal
Just two weeks ago, we announced our partnership with the Daily Express, which has seen them amplifying the voices of young wheelchair users and their families by sharing their stories.
We have been completely overwhelmed by the levels of generosity and support shown to us by The Daily Express and their readers, and are thrilled to announce that together, we have raised £50,000 in just those two weeks alone.
We are completely blown away by the unwavering support and generosity we have seen from readers of The Express, and would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you who has donated so far.
Your incredible support has come to us when we need it most, and every donation helps us to reach another family and provide life changing wheelchairs for young people that need them.
Thank you for helping us to give the gift of childhood this Christmas.

What We Must Achieve Together
In raising £50,000 in just two weeks there is a lot to celebrate. Every donation will directly benefit a young person, helping them to gain their independence.
However, we still have some way to go. To reopen our waitlist and help clear the backlog we need to raise £750,000. With £1.2 million a year, we could provide hundreds more children with the mobility equipment that allows them not just to get by, but to flourish and live life to the fullest.
A Christmas Where You Can Give The Gift Of Childhood
From us, to the readers of the Daily Express, thank you. We know that times are tough, and every donation means the absolute world to us and the children and families we support.
Your support will mean that children don’t spend a day longer than they have to waiting for mobility equipment that will unlock so much potential.
This Christmas, you truly can give the gift of childhood.
