Cooking with Nick - Flatbread Pizza & Yogurt Coleslaw

Cook along with Nick from One Mile Bakery as he shows you how to make delicious flatbread with creamy yogurt coleslaw.

For this recipe you will need:

  • Flatbread base:
    • 100g self raising flour
    • 50g wholemeal flour (optional)
    • 150g full fat Natural Yoghurt
    • ½ tsp baking powder
    • Pinch of salt
  •  Flatbread sauce:
    • 1 tin of plum tomatoes
    • Olive oil
    • 1 clove of garlic
    • Pinch of salt
    • Pinch of sugar
    • Toppings of choice e.g. mozzarella, cheese, ham, mushrooms, basil, oregano etc.

Some health and safety points to be aware of before you begin:

  1. Make sure you have an adult with you to help when working with a hot oven and stove/hob.
  2. Always use oven gloves when putting your baking tray in, and taking it out of the hot oven.
  3. Take care when handling sharp knives and kitchen utensils, make sure you have an adult close by to supervise and help you.
  4. Make sure you give the flatbreads time to cool down once they're out of the oven, before handling and eating them.
