Running vests can be exchanged at the Running Show but we will be limited on sizes so please check in advance with us if you think you’ve received the wrong size.
-
Unfortunately, you can’t transfer your place to someone else. If you can no longer take part in the marathon you need to let us know as soon as possible. Your friends and family members are then welcome to apply and we will then review all applications equally.
-
Please email the events team to let us know if you need to update your details.
-
If you live in the UK, we will send you your running vest once you fundraise your first £1,000. International runners must collect their running vest from the Running Show the week before the London Marathon.

If you have fundraised online using JustGiving or Enthuse, we will automatically receive the funds. If you have fundraised offline, there are multiple ways to pay in your fundraising, please see below:- Pay in to your page: deposit any cash donations into your account and then make an online donation to your fundraising page.
- Bank transfer: simply email us at events@whizz-kidz.org.uk and we will provide more information.
- Donate online: if you or someone wants to make a donation to you, do this directly on our website.
- Post: send a cheque made payable to Whizz Kidz to the following address: Whizz Kidz, 30 Park Street, London, SE1 9EQ. Make sure to include a note with your full name and that you’re fundraising for the London Marathon. It’s also helpful to email us to let us know when you’ve sent the cheque in.
You can then add any offline donations to your JustGiving or Enthuse page as an offline donation so they show up against your fundraising target.
-
The final deadline for paying in your fundraising is 26th May 2026.
-
All participants must fundraise their first £500 by Friday 2nd January or you risk losing your charity place. This is outlined in our T&C’s as part of your application process.
-
Yes, you can fundraise as a team but individually you will need to fundraise the full target of £2,100, excluding Gift Aid.
-
There are lots of ways to reach your fundraising target beyond asking for sponsorship. This can be anything from organising a bake sale to a virtual running challenge or even recycling old clothes in your wardrobe. Take a read of our A-Z fundraising ideas on our website.
As part of Team Whizz Kidz, you will receive regular updates from our team with fundraising ideas and inspiration. If you need any more inspiration or want to talk through ideas, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
-
The money you raise will help us reach even more young wheelchair users to provide the right equipment, skills and confidence to go further. For instance;
- £357 enables a child to benefit from a Whizz Kidz Wheelchair Skills Training session where, through games and fun activities, they can develop vital skills and confidence to help them use their wheelchair safely and confidently, becoming more independent and reducing isolation.
- £1,500 enables Whizz Kidz to provide the parts required to enable a young person to continue using their wheelchair confidently and independently as they grow older and their needs change.
- £3,149 enables Whizz Kidz to run an activity day for up to 30 young wheelchair users, where they can build confidence and skills, and make friends in a fully supported inclusive environment.

Everyone taking part in the London Marathon must collect their event pack from the Running Show. You won't be able to take part in the TCS London Marathon if you do not collect your event pack, as it contains your bib number. You will not be able to collect this on event day.
If you can't attend, someone can on your behalf. Details of how to do this will be in your Participant Guide, which will be emailed to you by the London Marathon team several weeks before the event.
The Running Show is also a great opportunity to calm any pre-event nerves by listening to expert talks, doing some last-minute shopping and meet the Whizz Kidz Team!
