Role Summary

As a Document Branding and Management volunteer, you will play a crucial role at Whizz Kidz by ensuring that all key documents are consistently branded, logged and maintained with proper version control. We are looking for someone who can apply our new branding to all relevant documents to maintain a consistent and professional appearance as well as manage version control procedures for documents, ensuring that the most up-to-date and accurate information is readily available while older versions are archived appropriately. Other key responsibilities will include maintaining a centralised document repository, ensuring that all documents are appropriately categorised, tagged and easily accessible to colleagues across the organisation.

Background to Whizz Kidz

More than 75,000 young people in the UK need a wheelchair to be mobile. Most have no access to a wheelchair that’s right for them, leaving them at risk of social isolation, poor mental health, and physical injury. We want to change that. Our vision is a society in which every young wheelchair user is mobile, enabled and included.

This is a remote volunteering opportunity.

Time Commitment

This is a flexible volunteering opportunity so the time commitment will be determined by the availability of the volunteer.

Skills and Qualities Required

Strong attention to detail
Proficiency in document management software and tools, including Microsoft 365
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Good organisational skills
Flexible and creative

Support Offered

Full induction and appropriate training will be provided for the role, in addition to ongoing support. We would want you to feel part of the team and will endeavour to ensure you always feel supported and valued.

Expenses

It is Whizz Kidz’s policy that volunteers should not be out of pocket for their contributions, and therefore we are happy to reimburse reasonable travel expenses. As this is a remote opportunity, we do not anticipate any travel expenses being incurred.
